Organic Content Standard 3.0
No processing, chemical or social criteria of any kind: it traces the organic percentage back to a certified farm and stops there. It stands to GOTS as RCS stands to GRS — the content half without the manufacturing conditions.
What it covers
Chain of custody for organically grown input content. Confirms the organic percentage is traceable to a certified farm.
What it does not cover
No processing, chemical or social criteria whatsoever. It is to GOTS what RCS is to GRS: the content-tracking half without the manufacturing conditions.
Scope and exclusions are recorded from the issuing body’s own published documentation. A certificate covers what its scope statement says and nothing beyond it.
